Funerals

Love does not end because I am not there
For I'm in every morning birdsong and every smile you share
I'm in every breath of wind and every flower you seeĀ
Our love is precious and eternal so let it set you free

When someone you love dies it can be a time of great sadness but it is also the time to remember what they meant to you and perhaps a time to celebrate their life.

As a Civil Celebrant my role is to assist, support and offer advise as you plan the funeral ceremony. I listen to your words and then put together a fitting tribute to your loved one.

Music, pictures and words can create powerful emotions and I encourage everyone involved to think about a special song or tune that will help to evoke those emotions. You may be brougt to tears or even smile at those memories. I can assist in writing the eulogy or perhaps you will find it therapeutic to write it yourselves. Take time to reflect over their life, remembering funny times, sad times and times of great happiness.

Each funeral I write is individual and I hope to make it a positive part of your grieving process.

Into the freedom of wind and sunshine, we let you go

Into the dance of the stars and the planets, we let you go

Into the wind's breath and the hands of the starmaker, we let you go

We love you, we miss you, we wany you to be happy

Go safely, go dancing, go running home
